Feng Shuai Zhang, Dean and Professor of the School of Economics at Jinan University, and Vice Chairman of Jinan University's Academic Committee; recipient of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars; "National Advanced Individual in the Care and Protection of Left-Behind Children and Children in Difficult Circumstances" (2021); recipient of the first "China Youth Economist Award" (2019); obtained his Ph.D. in Economics from Cornell University, USA in 2006; has conducted visiting research at Princeton University and the Chinese University of Hong Kong; has long engaged in academic research in the fields of labor economics and the Chinese economy; serves as a co-editor of the authoritative journal in population economics, Journal of Population Economics; has published over 40 papers in well-known domestic and international journals, including the American Economic Review, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of the United States of America, Review of Economics and Statistics, and Economic Research Journal.
