On the afternoon of May 27, 2021, Vice President Li Tao met with the delegation led by Mr. Paning Wong, President of North America Yongxin New Energy Co., Ltd. and Chairman of the Paning Centennial Foundation in Room 408 of the Business School Building. Mr. Li Jianwei, Director of the Alumni and Development Liaison Office and Secretary-General of the School Foundation, Dr. Hou Limin, Deputy Dean of the School of Business, Mr. Yang Yanhua, Chairman of PEMAPLUS, and some school alumni attended the meeting. Dr. Yuan Zhujun, Director of the School’s Alumni and College Development Center hosted the meeting.

Paning Wong is a Canadian patriotic overseas Chinese who is committed to charitable education and cultural exchanges between China and the West. The foundation has so far donated books to more than 697 impoverished primary and secondary schools in mainland China and set up scholarships in many universities.
