From June 11 to 12, the 5th East China University of Science and Technology - University of San Francisco International Conference, hosted by ECUST School of Business, co-organized by China Business Studies Initiative, University of San Francisco, Nottingham University Business School Ningbo China (NUBS China), Academy of International Business Asia Pacific Chapter, was held online. The Conference Topic is “Global Business in the Digital Age and Post-COVID-19 ”, which attracted scholars from more than 30 countries and regions including North America, South America, Australia, Europe and Asia, Executives from Twitter, Salesforce, Tencent, Baixing.com, ChinaVest, and more than 240 guests from global think tanks and other institutions to sign up for the conference.

Opening Ceremony hosted by Dr. YANG Xiaohua

The opening ceremony was hosted by Dr. YANG Xiaohua, Professor of the University of San Francisco. Dr. MA Tieju, Dean of ECUST School of Business, Dr. Charles Moses, Professor of the School of Management of the University of San Francisco, and Dr. LI Lei, Professor of NUBS China delivered welcome speeches.

Keynote speech by Dr. Marjorie A. Lyles

Dr. Marjorie A. Lyles, Former President of the Academy of International Business and the Institute of Strategic Management, Emeritus Professor of Indiana University, and Professor of Florida International University, and Dr. LI Jiatao, Former Vice President of the Academy of International Business and Professor of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, were invited to give keynote speeches. Dr. YAN Haifeng, Professor of ECUST School of Business, and Dr. Roger Chen, Professor of the University of San Francisco hosted the ceremony respectively.

The 1st day of the conference included the Business School Deans’ Forum, the Sino-US Economic and Trade Forum, the “Business Sustainability in the Digital Age” Book Forum, and the Paper Session.
