Recently, the Shanghai Academic Degrees Committee announced the list of 2021 dual Bachelor's Degree inter-disciplinary talents training projects in Shanghai General Institutions of Higher Education. After experts review and on-site defense, two dual bachelor degree programs of ECUST - Environmental Engineering and Sociology and Energy and Economy were unanimously approved.

ECUST School of Business’s Economics Major participated in this application, and  This is also the third dual bachelor degree program approved from the School (Chemical and Engineering Management, Computer and Finance, Energy and Economy).
