
Dr. SHAO Shuai, Professor of EUCST School of Business published two papers in the top domestic academic journals "Economic Research" (2021 issue 11) and "Management World" (2022 issue 2) as the first author, which are "The Induced Effect of Resource Industry Dependence on Zombie Companies" and "Economic Structure Adjustment, Green Technological Progress and China's Low-Carbon Transformation and Development: An Empirical Investigation based on the Overall Technology Frontier and spatial spillover perspective".
Professor SHAO Shuai's main research fields are energy economy and environmental management, and regional sustainable development. He is the chief expert of major projects of the National Social Science Foundation of China, a recipient of the National Outstanding Young Scientists Fund, and has been continuously selected as "Highly Cited Researchers" by Clarivate Analytics and Elsevier and the world's top 2% scientists (released by the Stanford University team).
He has published more than 140 papers in domestic and foreign academic journals such as Nature Geoscience, Nature Sustainability, Environmental & Resource Economics, World Development, Energy Journal, Global Environmental Change, Environmental Science & Technology, Ecological Economics, Economic Research, Management World, Management Science. His more than 20 papers have been selected as ESI hotspots and highly cited papers, with an H index of 35; he has presided over 1 major project of the National Social Science Fund, 4 projects of the National Self-Science Fund (1 "Excellent") and more than 10 provincial and ministerial projects.
