On March 31, 2022, ECUST School of Business has been granted EQUIS eligibility by the European Foundation of Management Development (EFMD), according to the Datasheet submitted by the School, the Briefing Visit held on January 14 and through the review and voting at the meeting of the EQUIS Committee on March 24.

Professor Alfons Sauquet, Director Quality Services & EQUIS organized an on-site pre-assessment meeting on EQUIS eligibility of the School. Ms. Veronique Roumans, Senior Manager of EQUIS, Mr. Petr Obergruber, Coordinator of EQUIS, Dr. MA Tieju, Dean of the School, Dr. HOU Limin, Former Vice-Dean of the School, Director of the Professional Degree Education Center, and leadership team attended the meeting.

Receiving EQUIS eligibility is a crucial step towards achieving full EQUIS accreditatio. The EFMD Quality Improvement System (EQUIS) is one of the three most prestigious business accreditations in the world. It specializes in higher education institutions of management and business administration, run by the European Foundation for Management Development.
