With the support of the Office of Shanghai Academic Degrees Committee, the Shanghai MBA Education Steering Committee has launched the selection activity of “2020 Shanghai MBA Excellent Dissertation Award” to actively promote the excellent MBA dissertation of colleges and universities and strive to improve the quality of MBA dissertations in Shanghai. Recently, the results of the “2020 Shanghai MBA Excellent Dissertation Award” were announced. After recommended by the cultivation institutions, evaluated and scored by experts, and reviewed by the directors' committee of Shanghai MBA Education Steering Committee, 33 dissertations were selected for “Shanghai MBA Excellent Dissertation Award” and 41 dissertations were selected for “Shanghai MBA Excellent Dissertation Nomination Award”.

In recent years, the Professional Master Programs Center of ECUST School of Business has been strengthening the control of dissertations in the whole process from multiple dimensions, such as students, faculty and degree management. Also, the Center has continuously improved the quality of professional master dissertations by offering compulsory courses on academic writing and literature retrieval, holding special lectures on dissertation and related training, developing the grading system for proposal, and establishing a combined system of individual guidance by supervisors and team guidance. In the future, ECUST School of Business will continue to uphold its original intention, forge ahead, stand at the forefront of innovation and change, and strive to cultivate more management talents with advanced knowledge and practical ability to serve the Chinese economy and global development in the digital era.
