The School of Business organized more than 1,000 teams and nearly 1,500 students to go to all parts of the country to carry out various summer social practice activities through social services and social investigations.

The team of scientific and technological support for agriculture went to Shanghang, Fujian Province to carry out the social practice activity of "illuminating the field of hope by industries enriching the people". The team members visited the family farms, interviewed a local famous agricultural enterprise Longyan Tongxian Rabbit Industry Development Co., Ltd., and made in-depth communications with the farm operators focusing on the standardized production, industrialized operation, brand marketing and high-quality development of the family farms, to appreciate the power of scientific and technological innovation in the field visit and investigation, and explore the "password" for rural revitalization.

The "New City Jiading and 'Auto' City Huai'an" team went to Jiading, Shanghai and Huai'an, Jiangsu Province and carried out the social practice activity with a theme of "regional integration development". The team members visited Jiangsu Minth Group Co., Ltd., and had a discussion on the current development situation and the future planning of the enterprise with the staff.  Through the exchange with the relevant person in charge of Huai'an Bureau of Industry and Information Technology and the person in charge of Investment Attraction Bureau of Huai'an Economic & Technological Development Zone Administration, the team further understood that the current development priority of Huai'an is to introduce excellent enterprises from Shanghai, optimize the manufacturing layout, and promote the development of innovation and entrepreneurship as well as high-quality enterprises.

The volunteer service team of logistics practices of the public service center went to Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province to carry out the summer social practice activity of "voluntarily serving the public, and co-creating a civilized city". The team members served as volunteers in the Zhuji Municipal Government Offices Service Center in turn within half a month, and assisted the staff at high and low distribution positions in the patrol of the operation conditions of equipment in the distribution room and other areas. In order to implement the volunteer services in place, the team members also carried out garbage cleaning and advocated anti-smoking where necessary, and assisted the traffic police in parking lots to deal with the illegally parked vehicles, contributing youth power to the construction of a civilized city.

The practice teams of the School of Business to Xiamen, Fujian Province carried out the promotion practice activity in the Xiamen Shuangshi Middle School. The team members arranged the site in advance, and promoted the campus culture and enrollment policies of ECUST on the site. During the promotion, the practice team answered the questions of parents and students with enthusiasm and patience, and properly acted as the spokesperson of ECUST.

The summer social practice is an important way for the School of Business to implement the work of educating people through practice, and also an important way for students to accumulate practical knowledge, make contributions to the society and improve their comprehensive quality. In the summer social practice this year, the students of the School of Business have achieved fruitful results. They were not only widely reported by the official media, but also actively used the new media to promote ECUST, spread the voice of ECUST and present a good style.
