Prof. LIU Yong from the Eller College of Management, University of Arizona, Visits the School

On December 13th, 2023, Prof. LIU Yong, Director of the Marketing Department and Executive Dean of the HSLOPEZ Business Data Analytics Institute at the Eller College of Management, University of Arizona, along with Ms. HU Fangjie, Director of the University of Arizona Shanghai Center, and Ms. LIU Yang, a Chinese Enrollment Advisor, visited our school. Dr. Ye Sheng, Executive Director of International Exchange Programmes, Dr. ZHU lina, Deputy Director of the Department of Business Administration, Dr. FEI Hongping and Dr. CHEN Liang from the Department of Marketing warmly received the guests. Ms. WANG Yamei from ECUST International Cooperation and Exchange Office also participated in the reception.

During the meeting, the two sides explored the "3+1+1" collaborative marketing programme for undergraduate and graduate students and discussed potential collaborative programmes. This conversation not only deepened mutual understanding but also laid a solid foundation for future cooperation.

Prof. LIU Yong hosted a thematic lecture for the faculty and students of the School. He shared his latest research findings in digital marketing and social media analysis, providing detailed insights into the teaching resources and academic advantages of the Marketing Department at the University of Arizona. The University of Arizona is a leading research institute in North America, and the Management Information Systems and Marketing programs at its Eller College of Management enjoy high recognition both in the industry and academia. In recent years, the Marketing programme at the University of Arizona has received STEM certification, a significant achievement that not only enhances the academic standing of the program but also opens up more career development opportunities for international students.
