The School's Delegation Attends 2024 Asia Pacific Accreditation Conference

From June 5th to 7th, 2024 Asia Pacific Accreditation Conference was successfully held in Bali, Indonesia by AACSB (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business). More than 300 representatives from 21 countries or regions in Asia-Pacific and worldwide participated in the conference. Prof.LOU Gaoxiang, Vice Dean of the School and Dr.PENG Zeyu, Director of the International Exchange and Accreditation Office were invited to this event.


This conference delves into topics including leadership in an uncertain future, technical standards for accreditation, coordination between international and domestic standards, and new technologies and AI-enabled social impact, with an aim to improve the quality of management education in the Asia-Pacific region, promote the innovation and development of business schools, and provide a platform for participating institutions to communicate and learn from each other.


During this event, Prof.LOU Gaoxiang and Dr. PENG Zeyu had an in-depth discussion with both Prof.Geoff Perry, Executive Vice President, Chief Membership Officer, and Managing Director of AACSB in Asia-Pacific region, and Prof.Stephanie Bryant, Executive Vice President, Chief Accreditation Officer, and Managing Director in Americas. They exchanged views on newly released AACSB Accreditation Standards, expanding international cooperation of Business Schools, and enhancing social impact of business schools through international accreditation. Prof.LOU and Dr.PENG also had meaningful dialogue with representatives from Australia, Singapore, Japan, Thailand, Malaysia and other international first-class business school, exploring potential cooperation opportunities.
