
Recently, the 2025 National Enterprise Competition Simulation Contest National Finals, supervised by the Chinese Association for Modern Management Research and the Joint Conference of National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Centers for Undergraduate Education (Economics and Management Group), and hosted by the Decision Simulation Professional Committee of the Chinese Association for Modern Management Research, was held at the Liulin Campus of Southwestern University of Finance and Economics. A total of 9,091 teams from 688 universities entered the national competition. After the preliminary and semi-finals, 349 teams from universities such as Peking University, Zhejiang University, Wuhan University, and East China University of Science and Technology advanced to the finals.
The "Top Men" team, comprising Wang Yiming, Wang Xiaoyi from the School of Business, and Chen Yafeng from School of Mechanical and Power Engineering, represented our university in the finals. After fierce competition, they ultimately won the first prize (the highest award) in the national contest. In addition to this, our university also secured two second prizes and four third prizes at the national level, achieving outstanding results and earning the "Outstanding Organization Award."
The university-level competition of the 2025 National Enterprise Competition Simulation Contest was jointly organized by the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Center and the School of Business, with the School's Smart Business Experimental Teaching Center taking on the hosting duties. Since its launch in early March, 225 students from various schools, including the School of Business, School of Mechanical and Power Engineering, School of Mechanical and Power Engineering, East China University of Science and Technology, signed up and formed 78 teams. Between March 12 and March 26, the Smart Business Experimental Teaching Center organized four online training sessions for students, led by experts from the Decision Simulation Professional Committee of the Chinese Association for Modern Management Research. On March 31st, an offline training and guidance session was held, where Prof.Li Ying provided guidance to the participants and invited winners from the previous year's national competition to share their experiences. On April 26, the participating teams competed in the national preliminary and semi-finals (online) at Laboratory 517 on the Fengxian Campus, with 17 teams successfully advancing to the national contest.
It is reported that the National Enterprise Competition Simulation Contest is an important business simulation decision-making competition with Chinese characteristics, targeting at university students. It uses the latest version of the enterprise competition simulation system for simulated confrontations. The competition focuses on assessing the basic qualities of the participating teams in enterprise management, business analysis, decision-making, cost accounting, and financial management, and tests the students' adaptability as well as their abilities to analyze and solve problems. Through the model of "learning through competition and teaching through competition," the contest aims to cultivate students' innovative practical abilities and team spirit. This competition is classified as a Category A secondary competition recognized by our university.
