On June 22nd, the 3rd Industry-Education Integration Base Carnival of ECUST School of Business, themed "Intelligent Linkage of Industry and Education · Innovating for a Changing Future", was successfully held. Scholars and corporate leaders from over ten institutions including Industrial Securities, SanDisk Semiconductor, and JD Logistics gathered to conduct in-depth discussions on topics such as core competencies of future talents, corporate talent strategies, and industry-education integration, jointly exploring new paradigms for in-depth integration of industry and education. Prof. Yan Haifeng, Vice President of the University, attended the event and delivered a speech, which was hosted by Prof. Fan Tijun, Dean of the Business School.

In his speech, Prof. Yan Haifeng pointed out that industry-education integration is the key to solving the contradiction between talent supply and demand and driving industrial upgrading. Through the construction of industry-education integration bases, the most cutting-edge industrial practices can be introduced into the classroom, making talent training more in line with market needs; at the same time, relying on the intellectual resources of universities, it can provide strong support for enterprises to solve practical problems and explore cutting-edge directions. He stated that ECUST is willing to promote universities and enterprises to work together to build an open, collaborative, and win-win innovation ecosystem, and promote the efficient flow of knowledge, technology, talents, and capital.

Chen Zhiqiang, General Manager of SanDisk Semiconductor, and Zang Chungao, General Manager of Yanfeng International, were appointed as visiting professors of the School and delivered keynote speeches based on frontline industrial insights to the guests. Chen Zhiqiang led the participants to "enter" the future factory, explaining the vigorous development of high-tech such as artificial intelligence, digital twins, and sustainability in the manufacturing industry. Zang Chungao focused on the development trends of the automotive industry, conducting an in-depth analysis of the global automotive market overview, structural changes in the Chinese automotive market, and the new trends in the 2025 automotive market.

The innovative course "Vocational Education and Practice for New Business Talents" was also released during the event. This course deeply integrates real corporate business scenarios and executive resources into the teaching system, opening up a new path for the systematic cultivation of undergraduates' professional abilities.

At the executive forum focusing on "Talent Cultivation in the Era of Change", corporate executives from different industries conducted in-depth discussions on topics such as core competencies of future talents, corporate talent strategies, and industry-education integration, injecting vivid industrial wisdom into business education.

In the future, the School will further deepen the construction of the industry-education integration ecosystem, work with corporate partners to write a new chapter of the era where education empowers industry and industry feeds back education, and contribute to the high-quality development of China's economy.
