
On July 4th, 2025, a delegation from the School of Business and Economics (SBE), University Putra Malaysia (UPM) visited the School. The delegation included Professor Bany Ariffin Amin Noordin, Dean of SBE, UPM; Associate Professor Anuar Shah Bali Mahomed, Deputy Dean of SBE, UPM; Aidi Asyraf Suhaimi, Executive Director; Ding Bo, Vice President of Malaysia-China Education and Culture Exchange Association; Meng Qingjun, Director of Innovation Education Research Institute of Shanghai Jiao Tong University Education Group; Yang Chao, Deputy Director of Innovation Education Research Institute of Shanghai Jiao Tong University Education Group; and Professor Zhou Bo, President of Korea-China International Education Association and from the International Graduate School of Dong-A University. They were received by Professor Fan Tijun, Dean of ECUST School of Business; Professor Lou Gaoxiang, Vice Dean of the School; Mr. Zhou Haibo, Director of Admissions and Alumni Office of the College of International Education; and Ms. Pan Xuejing, Deputy Director of the International Office, among others.
Prof. Fan Tijun first extended a warm welcome to Dean Bany Ariffin Amin Noordin and his delegation. He briefly introduced the development history, discipline construction, and faculty team of the School. He noted that University Putra Malaysia is an internationally renowned institution, and he expressed expectation for in-depth cooperation between the two schools in areas such as faculty exchanges and academic research in the future. Guided by the Belt and Road Initiative, with talent cultivation and knowledge sharing as bridges, both sides can contribute more wisdom and strength to the educational development of China and Malaysia.
On behalf of the School of Business and Economics, University Putra Malaysia, Bany Ariffin Amin Noordin expressed sincere gratitude to the Business School of ECUST for the warm reception. He introduced the international influence and school-running characteristics of University Putra Malaysia, particularly mentioning that its School of Business and Economics ranks first in Malaysia and, like the ECUST School of Business, is a top business school accredited by AACSB, EQUIS, and AMBA (the triple crown international accreditations). He looked forward to the two sides expanding diversified cooperation paths in the future to promote educational cooperation between China and Malaysia.
In the subsequent meeting, the participating representatives conducted in-depth discussions on topics such as student exchanges, academic visits of faculty, and scientific research cooperation.
