The 4th ECUST Workshop on "Contracts and Governance in the Digital Economy"
The digital economy is a strategic choice to seize the opportunities of the new round of technological revolution and industrial transformation. Building a digital China and enhancing digital governance capabilities are new engines for achieving Chinese-style modernization. The workshop on "Contracts and Governance in the Digital Economy" aims to address key issues and cutting-edge topics related to the digital economy, corporate governance, industrial development, regional and spatial governance under the context of high-quality development. It serves national strategies, supports the modernization of the national governance system and capabilities, and provides new ideas for promoting high-quality corporate development and strengthening China's digital economy.
The 2024 "International Conference on Industry, Academia, Research, and Application: Digital Economy and ESG Sub-forum" and the 4th ECUST Workshop on "Contracts and Governance in the Digital Economy" will be held at the School of Business, East China University of Science and Technology (ECUST) on September 19, 2024. The event is co-organized by East China University of Science and Technology, Shanghai Enterprise Federation/Shanghai Entrepreneurs Association, Wind Information Technology Co., Ltd., and the ESG Leaders Organizing Committee. It is jointly hosted by the School of Business, Oliver Hart Research Center for Contracts and Governance, Digital Economy Research Institute at ECUST, Shanghai Enterprise Federation/Shanghai Entrepreneurs Association, Wind Information Technology Co., Ltd., and the ESG Leaders Organizing Committee. This year's workshop will continue to focus on governance issues of significant practical importance in China, aiming to make a marginal contribution to the high-quality development of Chinese enterprises and the healthy growth of the digital economy.
