On September 18th, the delegation led by Parveen Samra, Associate Dean of Warwick Manufacturing Group (WMG), University of Warwick, UK, visited the School. During the visit, Parveen Samra attended the classroom of 2025 Sino-UK International MBA program and had an engaging conversation with the students.


     At the session, drawing on WMG's educational features and international talent-development philosophy, Associate Dean Parveen Samra spoke highly of the comprehensive competencies of the School's MBA students and shared her sincere expectations for them. She encouraged all students to make the most of the high-quality Sino-foreign cooperative learning platform, delve into specialized knowledge and pursue rigorous academic inquiry. She hoped students could grow and make progress through cross-cultural coursework. She also expressed warm anticipation that more ECUST MBA students would pursue exchange studies and further academic advancement at the University of Warwick in the future.

    The cooperating school for this ECUST-Warwick international program is Warwick Manufacturing Group (WMG), the only manufacturing faculty in the UK with a Royal Professorship of Manufacturing. Adopting an interdisciplinary business-industry collaborative model, the program features joint teaching by faculty from both China and the UK. It aims to cultivate senior management talents in operations and supply-chain fields equipped with global business perspectives. The program suits students focusing on industrial transformation, operational-model innovation, supply-chain efficiency improvement and international operations.
