Program Profile
This program aims to cultivate economics research talents with a strong sense of social responsibility and innovative spirit. Holders of the Ph.D. degree in Applied Economics should systematically master economic theories and methodologies, with particular expertise in economic statistical analysis and econometrics, develop a profound understanding of China's economic operational mechanisms, and possess independent research capabilities in economic issues. Graduates will be well-qualified for economics research and economic management positions in academic institutions, financial and industrial sectors and government agencies.
