Synopsis:
Bonded maintenance, as a productive service industry, aims to support enterprises in comprehensive bonded zones to carry out maintenance business that is high-tech, high value-added and in line with environmental protection requirements. Through bonded repair of self-produced products, enterprises can reduce repair costs and form a virtuous cycle of driving repair orders with production orders and promoting production orders with repair orders, thus realizing export growth. For bonded repair of non-self-produced products, enterprises can transform their repair experience into production capacity through the learning effect, thus driving exports. The article systematically examines the role of bonded repair in promoting exports by using the release of repair catalogs in ZIPO as a quasi-natural experiment.
