  Hong Ma is a professor at the School of Economics and Management, Tsinghua University, deputy director of the Department of Economics, recipient of the National Outstanding Young Scientist Fund (“International Trade”), and the chief expert of a major project of the National Social Science Foundation. He is engaged in research related to China's economy, mainly focusing on international trade and economic development. His articles have been published in Economic Journal, Review of Economics and Statistics, Journal of International Economics and other journals.
