Guest Bio:
Professor Xingjian Yi is currently President of Guangdong University of Finance and a recipient of the National High-Level Talent Program. He previously served as Vice President of the Chinese Association of Quantitative Economics and Vice Chairman of the Chinese Association of Consumer Economics, and is a member of the China Fintech Education and Research 50-Person Forum. He has been engaged in teaching and research in monetary finance, household consumption and saving behavior for many years. He has published several academic monographs and textbooks, and over 140 papers in authoritative journals such as Economic Research Journal, Management World, and Journal of Financial Research. He has led one major project of the National Social Science Foundation, three General Projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, and over ten provincial and ministerial projects. He has received more than 30 research and teaching awards, including the Second Prize of the Ninth Higher Education Research Outstanding Achievement Award (Humanities and Social Sciences), the Fifth "Liu Shibai Economics Award", and the First Prize of Guangdong Provincial Philosophy and Social Sciences Outstanding Achievement Award. Over ten consultation reports he authored have received instructions from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the provincial party committee and government leaders. He has also published more than 30 commentaries in various newspapers and periodicals.
