  Professor Puyang Sun is a Wu Yuzhang Chair Professor at Renmin University of China, Dean of the China Institute of Economic Reform and Development, Associate Dean of Chongshi College, and Professor at the School of Economics. He has been selected for the National High-Level Leading Talent Program, the National High-Level Young Talent Program, the Zhang Peigang Foundation Award Program, the Fok Ying-Tung Foundation Award Program, and the An Zijie Outstanding Achievement Award Program. He has received provincial and ministerial awards for outstanding social science achievements. His long-term research focuses on "China's institutional opening‑up." He has published over 100 papers in important domestic and international journals such as Social Sciences in China, Economic Research Journal, and Management World, and has been interviewed or published commentary articles in Qiushi and Guangming Daily. He has led numerous major research projects, including those from the National Social Science Foundation and the Ministry of Education, as well as various national think-tank projects.
