Distinguished Researcher
Candidates should in principle be no more than 35 years old (no more than 38 years old for females) in Science and Engineering, and no more than 40 years old in Humanities and Social Sciences. The age limit of those listed in the National Young Talent Project can be extended appropriately.
Candidates should possess robust scientific research experience, a well-defined research interest, and significant potential for growth. Their teaching and research capabilities, along with their achievements in the relevant academic fields, should be comparable to those of awardees of the National Young Talent Project.
Distinguished Associate Researcher
Candidates should generally be no more than 32 years old (35 for females) in Science and Engineering, and no more than 37 in Humanities and Social Sciences. For those on the Shanghai Key Talent Project list, the age limit can be extended to 35 (38 for females) in Science and Engineering and 40 in Humanities and Social Sciences.
Candidates are expected to have a strong scientific research background, demonstrated excellence in research and achievements within relevant academic fields, and significant potential for future development.
Professor
Candidates must have a strong professional background and significant development potential in relevant disciplines, with teaching and research capabilities and achievements that meet the university's criteria for full professorship in the respective fields.
