President David Malloy from King’s University College visits ECUST School of Business
On October 20th, 2023, the delegation led by Dr. David Malloy, President of King's University College at Western University, Canada (also known as University of Western Ontario), visited our school, accompanied by Ms. Sarah Li, Asia Programs Officer of King's University College. Prof. MA Tieju, Dean of the ECUST School of Business, Dr. PENG Zeyu, Director of the International Office, and Prof. LI Youping, Chair of the Department of Economics, participated in the meeting.
The School Conducts Training on Ethics for Faculty and Staff
On September 26th, the School of Business held a school-wide conference and a special training session on faculty and staff’s professional ethics and morality. The event was convened in the Lecture Hall 406 , ECUST School of Business Building with all faculty and staff members in attendance.
ECUST Sibiu Sino-European International Business School Holds the Working Meeting for Year 2023
On October 18th, 2023, the ECUST Business School and Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu, Romania (hereafter referred to as “Sibiu University”) held an online working meeting on the operation of the ECUST Sino-European International Business School in Sibiu (hereafter referred to as “the International Business School”), which was jointly established by the two universities in 2018.

The Third Forum on Contracts and Governance in the Digital Economy Successfully Held
On September 7th, the Third Forum on Contracts and Governance in the Digital Economy hosted by East China University of Science and Technology (ECUST)，organized by the ECUST School of Business and the Oliver Hart Research Center of Contracts and Governance was held in the Lecture Hall of Yifu Building. Prof. Oliver Hart (Nobel Laureate in Economics, Professor of Harvard University, Honorary Professor of ECUST, Director of Oliver Hart Research Center of Contracts and Governance) attended the forum and delivered a keynote speech. Prof. DU Huifang (Chair of the University Council) attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Prof. YAN Haifeng (Vice President of the University) hosted the forum.

ECUST School of Business was Jointly Accredited by AMBA & BGA (Gold)
On March 24th, the School of Business officially received the congratulatory letter from the Association of MBAs (AMBA) and the Business Graduates Association (BGA) that the School has passed the joint accreditation of the AMBA and the BGA (Gold), both with a maximum five-year validity period.

On October 31, 2019, the ECUST School of Business convened an AACSB Accreditation Coordination meeting, attended by YAN Haifeng, Dean of the School, members of the AoL Committee, Professors Committee, and Executive, Party & Administration Board, as well as Chairs of each department, Directors of the Professional Degree Programs Center and the Academic Degree Programs, and professional staff.
2019 MIEX IBoS Meeting is Held at ECUST
From May 16 to 18, the 2019 Meeting of the Master in International Management (MIEX) International Board of Studies (IBoS) was held at ECUST, during which DU Huifang, Chairman of University Council, and QU Jingping, President of ECUST extended their warm greetings to 11 representatives from the partner universities of MIEX.
